went down to Leeds on 30/12/2007.
the trip down was exhausting as i had to change a 3 stops. first stop is in Newcastle. then took a bus to Darlington train station. After sitting in the train for about half and hour had to change train again in York. i can die. seriously. it's a 4 and the half hours journey. phew luckily tak sesat.
i've got the worst sense of direction. i got lost once in Heathrow. never wana go there again.
now that all the roadworks have completed. hopefully the journey to leeds wont be that bad!!! :)
However once i reached leeds, seeing Ming Ling, I was filled with joy!!!hahahha..i know i just saw her but i dont know how to explain. seeing someone u have so much in common with, and so many things to talk about.... gosh..i'm missing her right now!!!

the homemade cheesecakeanyways the trip to Leeds was fun!!!very very fun. we welcomed our new year in our own way~ we went shopping (mostly me) in Primark!!! best place ever! and then went walked along briggate street. saw County Arcade and Victoria Quarter. and went in to MUIJI...i think..things there are very exp!!!but looks very ORGANIC!:) the weather that day was just PERFECT!!!! not too cold and no wind!!! we had the best Indian dinner!! super yummy. have to go there again!!!AKBAR'S serves the best naan, balti etc. yummy...

banana cakeon the 2/1/08 we went out! had NANDO'S ---->super yummy!!!! i miss eating nando's.the chicken here is so tender!!!and the corn...oh gosh..lau nua again..hahah
BUT the weather super duper cold..i can die. i wore only 2 shirt and 1 overcoat.that's all... i was freezing. we went to the chinese shop..things there is just so cheap.well cheaper than Edinburgh!!!! Unfair!!!hahahha...the tang yuan only 99p for 1 packet!! and it's taro tang yuan!!! super yummy and the mochi!!!hahahaha...
tang yuanthe dinner we had that night was a little disappointing but the ambiance was really nice. it's Thai Edge. if you are ever in Leeds dont go to that restaurant! we ordered cashew chicken , pineapple fried rice and some veg in curry sauce or something like that..not nice! after dinner we walked home!!!! we were so proud of ourself!!!hahahah..we walked so much. seriously. we braved through the icy cold wind. it was soooooo cold. i can barely feel my legs and fingers. all numb even with gloves on!

thai dinneron 3/1/08 ...my last day in Leeds. leaving on the 3.05pm train to edinburgh. toured around the city in the Free City Bus (how cool is that..free..we dont have anything like that in Edinburgh!! :( )
Leeds havent got much to offer. i meant the city. it's very modern.not like Edinburgh where we've got so many castles, etc etc. Leeds is more like a shopping haven abit like glasgow.
well had lunch at nando's again. coz i was craving for it! ahhaha..before that we had a light meal in harvey nichols..the scones...oh wo de tian ar!!!!simply delicious!!!ahhahaha..the fresh cream..so light and yummy..den after that left for edinburgh in the torturing 3 and the half hours train.

when i reached Edinburgh i can see that it snowed here as well. super slippery. almost slipped. wasnt wearing the right pair of shoes. haiz.
anyway glad to be back in edinburgh!! home sweet home. i come home with a cold! i think it was bcoz of one of the chilly night in Leeds! and my wisdom tooth is coming out as well. my cheek is swollen till my flatmate says 1 side looks rounder! as though i've put on weight! :'(
i have to admit i've put on so much weight ever since i came to the UK. all those yummy chocs and ice cream...yummmmmyyy...hahahhaha...
